Key Responsibilities: Perform welding tasks (arc, MIG, TIG, gas cutting, etc.) for repair and fabrication of furnace and mechanical components. Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of furnace structures, water-cooled panels, and related mechanical systems. Inspect, identify, and report wear or damage on furnace shells, ducting, electrode arms, cooling systems, and spares. Assist in alignment, fitting, and assembly of mechanical parts during maintenance shutdowns or overhauls. Maintain proper welding procedures and documentation for all repair and fabrication works.
